From first invite to first verified drive in 5 working days. This guide walks through the steps a placement cell takes to get CampusPlugin running for a new academic cycle.
Day 1 — Pilot kickoff
- Receive the institution-admin invitation email from your success manager.
- Sign in with your institutional email. Complete the admin MFA step (TOTP via Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator).
- Confirm the institution profile: name, NAAC + AICTE + UGC registration numbers, campuses, schools, programmes, and academic-year cycle.
- Invite up to 3 placement coordinators with role-scoped access (read-only vs full coordinator).
Day 2 — Student onboarding
- Institution → Students → Bulk upload. Use the provided CSV template (download it from the same page).
- The system deduplicates by email. Existing students from prior cycles are reconciled, not duplicated.
- Each new student receives an onboarding link valid for 7 days. Onboarding completion rate is tracked in your dashboard.
- If your institution has APAAR or ABC IDs, upload them too — they get auto-linked to the student profile.
Day 3 — Readiness gate configuration
- Institution → Settings → Readiness gates. Default gate is profile-completion > 90% + at least one verified skill + at least one mock interview score.
- Add or remove gate criteria per branch / programme. Common variants: minimum CGPA, completed Code Sprint, completed Aptitude Test.
- Communicate the gate to students via the in-app announcement banner. Students see their own status against the gate on the dashboard.
Day 4 — Employer activation
- Pull in your previous-year employer list (CSV upload or copy from prior season).
- CampusPlugin verifies each employer’s GST + CIN before they get hiring access. Verification typically completes within 24 hours.
- Verified employers receive an onboarding email with a link to your placement portal. New employers need to sign their MSA before posting their first drive.
Day 5 — First drive workflow
- Either institution-led (you create a drive and invite an employer) or employer-led (employer creates and you approve).
- Set the eligibility criteria: branches, year, minimum CGPA, additional skills.
- Shortlisting: institution preview → employer view. Only readiness-gate-passed students appear.
- Interviews + offers + joining confirmation flow runs end-to-end on the platform.
Ongoing — Reporting
- Institution → Reports → NAAC criterion 2 export, AICTE EOA evidence pack, UGC placement data, NIRF placement weight.
- Each export takes 1–2 minutes for institutions under 5,000 students. Larger institutions receive an email when their export is ready.
- Set up an annual report cadence: we auto-generate the comprehensive report 30 days before each NAAC peer-team visit if that date is on file.
Troubleshooting
- Bulk upload errors — most are duplicate emails or invalid CGPA formats. The upload tool gives row-level errors with line numbers.
- Students not receiving invites— check spam filters; check the institutional email policy doesn’t block external bulk-mail. Whitelisting
noreply@campusplugin360.com usually fixes it. - Employer verification stuck — write to support@campusplugin360.comwith the employer’s GST number.
- NAAC export incomplete— ensure all drives in the assessment cycle are marked “closed” with joining confirmations. Open drives are excluded from the export.
