These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of CampusPlugin 360 (the “Platform”) operated by CampusPlugin Technologies Private Limited (“CampusPlugin”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
1. Eligibility
- Students— must be enrolled at an institution that has activated CampusPlugin and must be at least 16 years of age (or 13 with verifiable parental consent for institutions onboarding minors under their guidance).
- Institution staff— must be authorised by an institution that holds an active CampusPlugin subscription.
- Employer staff— must be authorised by an employer that has completed our GST + CIN verification.
- Government / CSR users— must be authorised by a registered government mission or Section 8 / Schedule VII Item (ii) compliant CSR entity.
- You must be legally capable of entering into a contract under Indian law.
2. Account responsibilities
- You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity on your account.
- You agree to provide accurate and current information during onboarding and to keep your profile up to date.
- You must notify us at security@campusplugin360.com immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
- MFA is mandatory for admin and TPO accounts. We may require MFA for other accounts based on risk signals.
3. Acceptable use
You agree NOT to:
- Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or qualifications
- Post fraudulent job listings or extract candidate data outside of legitimate hiring purposes
- Interfere with the Platform’s operation, security, or other users’ access
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Platform (except as permitted by Indian law)
- Use the Platform to send unsolicited commercial communications
- Upload malware, conduct denial-of-service attacks, or probe for vulnerabilities outside of our published security disclosure policy
- Discriminate on the basis of caste, religion, gender, disability, or any other protected characteristic in shortlisting decisions
4. Verified employer requirements
To access campus-hiring features, employers must complete CampusPlugin’s verification, which currently includes:
- GST registration verification
- CIN verification with MCA-21 records
- Identity verification for the primary admin user
- Public-domain validation of the company brand and signage
Employers that fail or revoke verification will lose access to candidate data and may have past drives flagged in the audit log.
5. Fees
- Students— CampusPlugin is free for students. Students never pay for any feature.
- Institutions— the 30-day pilot is free. Post-pilot pricing is published in our institutional license agreement.
- Employers— pricing is tier-based on the number of campuses + hires. Refer to your Master Services Agreement.
- Government / CSR— outcome dashboards are free for state employment missions and CSR foundations under ₹2 Cr annual education + skilling spend.
Fees, when applicable, are payable in Indian Rupees and exclusive of GST. Late payment attracts 18% per annum.
6. Subscription, suspension, termination
- Institution and employer subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled with 30 days written notice prior to renewal.
- We may suspend access to investigate alleged breaches of these Terms, with notice.
- Either party may terminate for material breach uncured within 30 days of written notice.
- On termination, you may export your data via the data-export tool within 60 days. Thereafter, we anonymise or delete data subject to retention requirements.
7. Intellectual property
- The Platform, including all software, branding, designs, and content (other than User Content), is owned by CampusPlugin or its licensors.
- You retain ownership of content you upload (resumes, profiles, drives, etc.). You grant us a limited licence to host, display, and process this content to provide the service.
- CampusPlugin’s open-source contributions remain governed by their respective licences.
8. Privacy and data protection
Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal data. Our commitments under the DPDPA 2023 are non-negotiable.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold CampusPlugin harmless from claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your unauthorised use of the Platform.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Indian law, CampusPlugin’s total liability arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
11. Service availability
We target 99.9% uptime for Tier-1 services (auth, student, jobs, payment). Refer to our status page for real-time availability and incident history. Scheduled maintenance windows are announced in advance.
12. Governing law and dispute resolution
- These Terms are governed by Indian law.
- Disputes will be resolved first via good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, the dispute will be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996. Seat: Bangalore.
- Subject to arbitration, the courts of Bangalore have exclusive jurisdiction.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes are notified by email to active accounts and via the commit history of this document. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.
